have cold feet : hesitate because of fear or uncertainty

차가운 발을 갖다 : 두려움과 불확실성 때문에 주저하다

선물용 말의 입안을 들여다보다 : 선물에 대해 불평하다 (말의 나이를 치아를 통해 판단하는 관습에서 유래됨)

ex. Although I didn’t have much use for Uncle Roy’s present, I took it with a big smile since I have been taught never to look a gift horse in the mouth.
